Airborne research and fun

Dad and Maya had a great day visiting NASA's crew at the Sonoma County airport.  The crew was here this morning to fly the AVIRIS Next Generation hyperspectral sensor over some local forests sites in support of Dad's forest species mapping research.

Visit with Papa

Papa came to visit in January.  We had a fun adventure day in San Francisco with the carousel, long slides, breakfast at our favorite crepe place and a train ride to the beach.  The weather was incredible, although we are feeling guilty enjoying the sunshine when there hasn't been hardly any rain this winter.

Papa and Dad went on a ride and hike to the Sonoma coast.  These are pictures from around Bodega Bay.
