I went with Mommy and Daddy to Los Angeles for Thanksgiving. It was hell being strapped into the car seat for so many hours, but well worth the fun once I was there. Here are some memories from my first Thanksgiving!

Resting at Grandma Adi's house after a long weekend with lots of good food and so many yakking relatives!

Here I am hanging out with Ethan, Lily, and Olivia at Papa's house.

Papa had an awesome Playmobil train that went from his bedroom, down 2 long hallways and into to the living room!

We had a great Thanksgiving dinner at Susan and Alan's house. All of my buddies were there -- Sammy, AJ, Lily and Olivia. The food was great. I got to taste turkey for the first time. My favorite food was the mashed potatoes! Daddy said that his favorite food there was uncle Mark's homemade chocolate chip cookies... he didn't let me try those, though.

AJ and Olivia loved all the great food!

Playing "missela-mosola" (not sure of the yiddish spelling?) with Great Grandma Lu

I love my Tia Phoebe.

Grandma Adi showed me how to rock my baby Florencia to sleep.

A little light entertainment...

Well, there is no other way to put it... Maya has perfected the art of the fart noise. She learned this behavior from Abuela Maria in Argentina. This is now Maya's favorite activity in the morning. She is particularly insistent on doing this at 5:30 am!!!

We have all been sick with colds lately. Yesterday we finally felt well enough to venture out. We went with Justin, Bonnie and their 2 kids Tobias and Adriana to Bodega Head and the Wild Flour Bakery in Freestone – home of the famous sticky-bun. Wild Flour's garden was marvelous, but Bodega Head was FREEZING and windy so we mainly “tailgated” in our cars.
